It began as my story. Me and my best friend got in a plane and traveled from Washington DC to Alaska so I could get away from an abusive relationship. We were so naive we thought we would see polar bear and perhaps live in an igloo. Little did we know when we  began the journey with our suitcases full of Roman Noodles and our hearts full of dreams, our adventure would morphed into a best selling series that has been read all over the world.
